Epiphone ft-79
Since its introduction in 1958, Epiphone Texan, known for being used by famous artists such as Paul McCartney, is back at the Gibson Montana factory!
Sitka spruce on the top and mahogany on the sides/back. This is a model that achieves an overwhelmingly rich live sound that sets it apart from the inexpensive 1964 Texan.
The 25.5-inch long scale is longer than the 24.75-inch scale used in general Gibson and Epiphone guitars, and has a strong sense of tension, giving it a powerful tone and clear contours.
The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish does not interfere with the sound, and it is possible to output the “real sound” so to speak.
There is also a label inside the body that says “FT-79”, which is a nice specification for fans who want the original.
Equipped with LR Bagss’ VTC pickup, it is a more practical model that can be used for stage and line recording without modification.
* There is a feeling of scratches and dents, but the playing condition is good.
